Children - Please note that we welcome guests of all ages, indeed we have taken many steps to ensure that you will have a relaxing holiday with children. These include the provision of childrens plates, tumbers and cultery , provision of toys and books and a PS2 with games. there are also many books, colouring pencils, and outdoor toys. For babies there is a high chair and cot available. There are a couple of points which parents of very young children should be aware of: there are stairgates although these are portable ones and would not stand up to unsupervised energic play near to the stairs. There are 2 flights of stairs- although there is storage for a pushchair downstairs prams would have to be taken up one flight of stairs. There are no cupboard locks. The front door opens directly onto the street- although it is not a busy street care will have to be taken to ensure that children do not rush out and please remember that the harbour is very close!

Disabled Visitors - Much as we would like to make our apartment accessible to everyone, it is important to point out that it was originally built over 200 years ago and it has not been possible to adapt it for the needs of severely disabled visitors. There are 13 stairs up to the main living areas and another 13 up to the bedrooms. These are normal household stairs with bannisters at the side but guests with  mobility issues should consider very carefully whether we would meet your needs.
